Biomaster partner OPRO, makers of the world’s most technically advanced mouthguards, has signed a partnership with the German MMA Federation (GEMMAF) to become the “Official Mouthguard of the German MMA Federation”.
In addition OPRO will campaign to promote the safety and protection of all fighters during training and competition. The Hemel Hempstead-based company will also play a leading role in supporting the German MMA Federation’s aim to grow participation in the sport nationally.
The German MMA Federation joins OPRO’s ever-increasing ‘official mouthguard status’ federations, which include the Italian MMA Federation, England Rugby, New Zealand Rugby, Australia Rugby, England Boxing, the GAA and England Hockey, and confirms OPRO’s status as the world’s leading innovator and manufacturer of mouthguards.
OPRO mouthguards are also available with optional Biomaster antimicrobial protection added to the mouthguard and mouthguard case. Biomaster inhibits the growth of most types of harmful bacteria and makes the mouthguards and cases cleaner and more hygienic 24/7, for their entire lifetime.
Founder and owner of the OPROGROUP, Dr Anthony Lovat BDS. commented, “this is an exciting time for OPRO as we celebrate our 20th anniversary. We recognise the tremendous growth and popularity of MMA throughout the world and are delighted to be a part of it.”
Raphael Vogt, President of the German MMA Federation adds, “choosing OPRO to be our official mouthguard supplier was an obvious choice for us. Our members are amongst the toughest, most disciplined fighters in MMA.
Every time an athlete enters the arena he wants to be free from all distractions to enable him to concentrate fully on his challenge ahead and OPRO mouthguards give him ease of breathability, comfort and protection knowing he is wearing the best mouthguard in the world.”
