Contour rolls out new ‘best in class’ anti-slip antimicrobial shower tray

Biomaster partner Contour Showers has announced the launch of a new range of anti-slip shower trays with antimicrobial product protection.

Available from July 2018, the Falcon range of 40mm high, low level shower tray will feature a ‘Best In Class’ anti-slip surface.

All Contour shower trays incorporate Biomaster antibacterial technology, built-in during the manufacturing process to provide continuous product protection for the lifetime of the shower tray, making them ideal for use in shower areas of high activity with continual shared usage.

Contour marketing manager Marc Smith explains: “this latest development demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality, value and service. The Falcon features a ‘Best In Class’ DIN 51097:1992 Class ‘C’ anti-slip shower tray surface.

DIN 51097:1992 is the industry-recognised standard which tests slip resistance of flooring in barefoot conditions using a soapy water solution. There are 3 classifications, A, B & C, ‘A’ being the lowest classification and ‘C’ the highest. The Falcon shower tray with its’ new, easier to clean, anti-slip pattern is classed as a Quality Group ‘C’, the highest achievable classification available.”
