Biomaster protects new healthcare power system

Bytec Healthcare based in Redhill, Surrey, address the needs for infection control in hospitals and clinical environments with a range of innovative systems including medical carts, roll stands, mounting arms and battery systems.

The new Geni-Tec Power System is designed to integrate with the company’s range of medical carts but can also be used as a stand-alone power system.

Geni-Tec can supplement existing module power, provide uninterrupted power supply, or mobilise otherwise static equipment.

A networked power management system allows for asset management and performance monitoring of the module in service and provides performance logging. 

The new Geni-Tec battery system is safe to wash under water due to the electronics inside making sure the battery terminals are never supplied with current when the battery is disconnected.

The outer casing of Geni-Tec now has Biomaster antibacterial protection. Biomaster technology works 24/7 to reduce the risk of cross-contamination inhibits the growth of most harmful bacteria including healthcare acquired infections such as MRSA.

The Bytec range of Biomaster protected equipment includes the Medi-Key medical grade keyboard built for infection sensitive environments. 

Designed for use by both patients and clinicians, Medi-Key is made of waterproof hypoallergenic silicone rubber, so you can simply wash it under running water. 

The keyboard’s surface also has Biomaster antimicrobial technology, helping prevent the spread of bacteria through cross-contamination.
