Addmaster (UK) Ltd will be showing how Biomaster technology is being applied as a powerful barrier against healthcare acquired infections (HAIs) at the sector’s largest trade exhibition next month.
Healthcare Estates 2016 is the only of its kind in the UK bringing together people who design, build, manage and maintain healthcare facilities and provides the opportunity to explore how to improve the built environment for the patients using UK healthcare facilities.
HAIs are the most common complication of hospital care and one of the most serious patient safety concerns. Biomaster antimicrobial technology provides 24/7 protection against bacterial build up from harmful strains including MRSA, Legionella and Enterococcus faecalis. It also works against moulds and odour-causing bacteria enabling a fresher, more hygienic healthcare environment.
Biomaster is used extensively in hospitals, dental surgeries, care homes and GP practices around the world in products ranging from beds to cubicle curtains, nurse call systems to wall and ceiling paints, flooring and door handles to showers, pull cords and even case note folders. There are currently over 50 different Biomaster treated products currently being used in NHS hospitals throughout the UK.
Addmaster Marketing Manager Karl Shaw says: “Patient safety is a cornerstone of healthcare and preventing healthcare associated infections is a priority.
Biomaster is very easily introduced into almost any item. We will be showing healthcare estate managers how it is already being used as a powerful addition to standard infection procedures in a wide range of applications and talking to healthcare sector manufacturers about how Biomaster antibacterial protection can add value to their products.”
Find out how Biomaster works on Stand B23 the at Healthcare Estates Exhibition, Manchester Central from 4-5 October.
